WOW! It took Ford Motor about 4 years to finally combat with the GM OnStar program but the time has come! This new smart style of system is exclusively from Microsoft of which Ford has the rights to sync for the next 5 years. What’s all involved involved in this system? We’ll break it down the let you know just why this is upping Ford’s sales across the country.

The communication and entertainment system which operates your Ipod, cell phone and radio is all voice activated. Smart Voice is the heart of the Ford Sync monster that operates your phone, Ipod and radio can also read you your emails, and text messages to you while your driving. The Ford Sync also can speak to you in 3 different languages English, Spanish, and French. Granted who cares about the French?

The Ford Sync is the latest taste in in car communication. Snyc will have OnStar on check at least for a bit. Onstar is currently trying to improve their method but due to Ford’s patton cannot come out with the same sync type system for the previously started 5 years. Sync still does lack in the E911 column where emergency crews can and will be called in case of a accident or emergency.

I highly recommend you stopping by your Ford dealer and check out the Sync system. I stopped by my local Ford dealer for a first hand look and though I couldn’t play music cause I didn’t have my Ipod on me I was still able to go though a walk through mode.
