GM in 2007 sold one million vehicles in China being the first automaker from the U.S.A to sell a million vehicles in just one year. The one millionth car sold was a Buick Park Ave. to Zhang Jianping. The market is growing so fast that in 2001 GM sold 100,000 per year in 2002 and jumped to 500,000 in 2005 and made up the other 500,000 in just two years!
