Barak Obama was recently in a GM plant in Wisconsin where he touted the GM workers for their hard work and for their continuation to keep strong throughout these hard times. He also said he hopes to give them the assistance to make sure their plant stays there for another 100 years.

This might sound like political b.s but I for one don’t think so I think that Mr. Obama means what he says afterall if he doesn’t show what he’s made of in the first four years we’ll just vote him outta office anyways. The big American markets are still getting killed by the Toyota and other foreign auto makers across the globe. He can also be quoted as saying “My energy plan will invest $150 billion over ten years to establish a green energy sector that will create up to 5 million new jobs over the next two decades—jobs that pay well and can’t be outsourced. We’ll also provide funding to help manufacturers convert to green technology and help workers learn the skills they need for these jobs.”

This would cetainly help the U.S economy with the 150 billion spent in that area and I’m sure the majority of it would be spend in the auto industry. Hybrids are the way of the future they are eventually going to span across the country. I HIGHLY recommend that all of you go check out either a Ford Escape hybrid or any other type of hybrid on the market and see the difference. Granted I’d rather you buy American but I’ll leave that part up to you. It’s your money.
